The mission of the MAPS Foundation is to assist the school district in the following ways:

• To provide enriched learning opportunities beyond the school district's core curriculum, as well as scholarships for post-secondary studies;
• To promote and encourage local business, civic, and private sector involvement in the school district;
• To encourage creative and innovative educational programs; and
• To promote and maintain use of the most recent technologies in teaching and learning
