Free Meals for Kids to Continue in the SDMA
Posted on 06/10/2020

Dear SDMA Families,

The Free Meals for Kids Program will continue in the SDMA throughout the summer. Nothing with the program will change during the month of June, but new registration is needed with the program changes beginning in July. To sign up for meals in July and August, please complete this online registration form.

According to SDMA School Nutrition Director Michelle Kloser, FREE breakfast and lunch will continue to be available for all children 18 and under in the SDMA through August 27, 2020. June meal information remains the same.

A new form will need to be submitted for the July and August meals. Families only need to fill this new form out one time.

CHANGES starting JULY 2:

  • Meals will be available to pick up from 3:30 pm-5:30 pm on THURSDAY's only at Menomonie High School, Menomonie Middle School. If you previously picked up at Wakanda Elementary, please sign up for the High School. You will receive seven breakfasts and lunches for each child each week.  Meals will be at no cost to families. In order to have enough prepared for all children, we are asking that you either submit this form or call 715-232-1642 ext 11064 and leave a message to tell us how many children will be needing meals, at which school you will be picking up the meals, and if your child has any food allergies.  Please be sure to include a call back number if you leave a message.
  • This form only needs to be filled out once. This form replaces the previous registration form and needs to be submitted for July and August meals.
  • Free meals are available to ALL children 18 and under. In July and August, the day of pick up will change to Thursdays 3:30-5:30, High School and Middle School. Please review the instructions for storing and heating foods.
  • Please call 715-232-1642 ext 11064 if you have any questions or concerns. Leave a message and phone number and we will call you back.

Thank you and have a great week!
